El primer tiempo de la final de la Concachampions fue mas peleado en el medio campo.  El Real Salt Lake presiono muy fuerte al Monterrey en los primeros
15 minutos del encuentro.  Espinola volvio loco a la saga del Monterrey.  Tubo una clara que fallo cuando a Mier se le adelanto la pelota y le quedo a Espinola que no pudo concretar.  Manuel Vucetich cambio de posiciones a Walter Ayovi por Neri Cardozo, esto le dio el control total del medio campo.  El gol cayo en el minuto 45 por una jugada explendida entre Suazo que le paso la pelota a Santana en el area chica, y este se la regreso y una finta y disparo y anoto.  En el segundo tiempo Real Salt Lake ya no pudo hacer nada.  Los intentos fueron incapazes de hacer el gol que les diera el empate.  Los de Monterrey fueron buenos en congelar la pelota hasta el final.  El Monterrey es el campeon de la Conchampions, y representara a la area de Concacaf en el mundial de clubes

The final  game of the Conchampions was really disputed in midfield.  Real Salt Lake powered pressed Monterrey for the first 15 minutes. Mier was unable to control the ball , and Espinola took it and had a clear shot, that he missed.  Manuel Vucetich, Monterrey's coach seen that he was at a disadvantage by not controlling the mid field, he told Cardozo and Ayovi to trade positions, and this seemed to do the trick.  After been pressured for the first 51 minutes, Monterrey was able to take full control.  The goal came from a pass by Suazo to Santana, and Santana to Suazo were he scored.  Real Salt Lake was unable to make anything happen in the second half.  It tried but failed at gaining that goal that would give them the tie.  A truly worthy adversary.  But Monterrey is the Champion and will advance to represent the Concacaf Area at the World Cup of Clubs this December.

La final de la liga concacaf de campeones se llevara acabo en el estadio Rio Tinto de Utah a las 10PM tiempo del Este y 7PM tiempo pacifico (horarios de estados unidos).  La ventaja la lleva el Real Salt Lake porque con un empate ellos ganan el titulo.  El  Monterrey por su caso, esta en graves problemas ya que las lesiones lo estan perjudicando pero el fuego del Monterrey todavia no se extinge.  El Real Salt Lake esta invicto en casa por 37 juegos.  Esta estadistica son muy pesimistas para el Monterrey.  Pero los juegos hay que jugarlos, nada esta escrito, y mañana sera el dia de la final.  Sera el Monterrey o sera el Real Salt Lake, el que se quede con el pase al mundial de clubes?

The championship game for the concachampions will take place at Rio Tinto stadium in Utah @ 10PM eastern time and 7PM pacific time (US times).  Real Salt Lake has the biggest advantage as they host Monterrey.  Real Salt Lake can become the new champion even by a tie.  The data statistics favor everything in Real Salt Lake way, they have been undefeated for the past 37 home games.  Monterrey on the other hand has to win the game by a difference of one goal.  They have been hit with important key player injuries, but the mexican team will have to show everyone what their really made of.  No game score is set without first been played, and tomorrow is not an exception.  Tomorrows game will determine who gets the pass to the World Cup of Clubs

Este miercoles se llevo acabo la primera final de la liga de campeones concacaf.  El Monterrrey tubo todo para ganar, pero el equipo de Real Salt Lake supo jugar en forma de visitante.  Ya lo habian probado contra otros equipos, y esta vez no fue la excepcion.  El Real Salt Lake saco un empate casi al terminar el partido.  Este empate es muy valioso porque la final va a ser en la casa del Real Salt Lake la semana que viene.  Los goles de Monterrey fueron por Aldo De Nigris, y el chupete Suazo.  Y por el Real Salt Lake, los goles fueron de Borchers, Y de Javier Morales.

This wednesday evening the first game of the Concacaf Champions League took place between Monterrey and Real Salt Lake.  Monterrey was unable to take advantage playing in their turf.  And once more Real Salt Lake proved to everyone that they can stand still and play against anyone in any ground.  Real Salt Lake was able to tie the game in the last minutes of the game, leaving them in a great position to win the Concacaf Championship and advance to the World Cup of Clubs.  Aldo de Nigris and Chupete Suazo scored the goals for Monterrey, and Borchers and Javier Morales scored for Real Salt Lake.

Por primera vez dos equipos de diferentes federaciones disputaran la final de la Conchampions.  El Real Salt Lake City de Estados Unidos y el Monterrey de Mexico.  El juego de ida sera en el estadio Tecnologico en suelo mexicano en la fecha de 4/20/2011 y el juego de vuelta sera en el estadio Rio Tinto en Utah en la fecha  de 4/27/2011.

El juego promete ser una batalla hasta el final.  El Monterrey tendra la oportunidad de tomar ventaja porque juegan primero en casa.  Pero el equipo del Real Salt Lake sabe jugar bien en cualquier cancha.  Ya a sido campeon de la MLS, y esta es una oportunidad de ir al mundial de clubes que no va a dejar ir.  Por su parte el Monterrey anhela ir al mundial de clubes, tiene uno de los mejores equipos de Mexico.  Es el actual campeon y por los ultimos años a sido el mejor equipo de Mexico.

For the first time two teams from different associations will play the final of the Conchampions. Real Salt Lake City from United States and Monterrey from Mexico. The first game will be at the Tecnologico Stadium in Mexican territory on 4/20/2011 and the return and final game will be at Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah on 4/27/2011.

This game promises to be a battle to the end.  Monterrey will have the opportunity to take the advantage because they play first at home. But the Real Salt Lake team has proven they can play well in any field. They have already been champions of the MLS league and this is an opportunity to win a ticket to the Fifa World Cup for clubs. On the other hand, Monterrey is one of the best teams in Mexico. Is the current champion and in the last few years it has been the best team in Mexico.
