Grande fue el morbo que estaba alrededor de este encuentro, especialmente el regreso de Vicente Sanchez al equipo que lo lanzo a Europa.  El encuentro de America Vs Toluca tenia muchos buenos ingredientes para hacer de este partido uno de los mejores de la semana.  El juego empezo con un Toluca que se fue arriba en el marcador con un error grave de Mosquera que no pudo rechazar la pelota en el area chica y el jugador de Toluca se la alcanzo a mover y pasar a Alonso que la pudo meter para el 1-0.  Despues en una corrida de Benitez, se pudo desmaracar y acarrear la marca de cuatro jugadores de Toluca y pudo pasar y dejar solo para que Matias Vuoso la empujara y empatara el partido 1-1.  Despues Edgar Dueñas cometio otra falta y ya que tenia la amarilla le sacaron la otra y lo expulsaron y todo esto paso en el primer tiempo.  En el segundo tiempo con diez hombres Toluca pudo resistir la mecanica ofensiva de las aguilas y el partido se quedo hasi 1-1 y los dos equipos repartieron puntos.

There was a lot of extra issues revolving around this game.  For instance, Vicente Sanchez was coming back to play against the team that launched him to the European Soccer and America had trouble getting a win at the Nemesio Diez Stadium for the past tournaments.  The game developed into a good game, specially since Toluca the home team was able to go up 1-0 by Alonso.  The goal came on an error by Mosqura that was unable to get the ball out of the goalie box and the Tolucan player was able to deflected and make a pass for Alonso to just push it in.  That goal made the game more interesting, and Benitez was able to make a run and dragged along four Tolucan players and was able to dribble off them all and made a pass to Vuoso that was able to score the tie for America 1-1.  Than Edgar Dueñas received his second yellow card and was thrown off the game and Toluca with ten men was able to hold on to that tie and both team split points.

Los Xolos de Tijuana recien acendidos a la primera division tenian su primer juego de visita en contra del Monterrey.  Una visita muy comprometedora y con morbo porque Egidio Arevalo que pertenece a Monterrey estaba en casa.  Tambien con los nuevos refuerzos como Arevalo , y Dayron Moreno, y el regreso tambien del Chupete Suazo de Copa America, el juego pintaba para bueno.  Y hasi fue el primer tiempo, un refuerzo Arce saco la marca y mando un pase a Dayron Moreno que este la levanto y vencio al portero poniendo el 1-0 para Tijuana.  Minutos despues Joe Corona hiso su segundo gol del torneo y el segundo para Tijuana 2-0.  Ya despues en el juego Santana pudo descontar antes que se acabara el primer tiempo y puso los cartones 2-1.  Empezando el segund tiempo Arce derribo a Santana y marcaron penal.  Era una falta muy controversial ya que no parecia penal pero Luisitio Perez hizo el 2-2.  Depues Ayovi hiso el 3-2 para Monterrey a pase del Chupete Sauzo y el Chelito Delgado al minuto despues puso el 4-2.  Monterrey tubo que venir de atras, pero este juego le costo mucho ganar.  Y Tijuana no merecia perder, pero el futbol es de goles.

Xolos of Tijuana was making their first trip as a visitor to one of the most hardest stadiums of all Monterrey.  But with the inclusion of their brand new players fresh of Copa America Dayron Moreno and Egidio Arevalo this was planting to be a good game.  Specially since Arevalo was making its return to the land which Monterrey has the rights to as a player.  Chupete Suazo was also back from Copa America and the game started of with a surprise because Tijuana was able to be up ahead on the game on a goal from Dayron Moreno from a pass from Arce.  The second goal was made by Joe Corona, and Santana scored for Monterrey.  So in the first half , the score was 2-1 and Tijuana was up.  In the beginning of the second half Arce committed a foul on Santana and a penalty kick was called.  This call was very controversial because it was defenetly the mood changer for the game.  Luis Perez took the shot and tied the game for Monterrey.  Then Walter Ayovi was able to score the 3-2 for Monterrey on a pass from Chupete Suazo and less then a minute later, Chelito Delgado scored the final 4-2 for Monterrey.

Los guerreros del Santos eran los locales en este dia y al frente tenian al Atlante que venia de una derrota contra las Chivas.  Por su parte Santos venia de golear a visita a Pachuca.  El juego empezo muy bien para los Santos ya que hubo muchas aproximaciones en los primeros minutos del juego.  El Atlante estaba muy metido atras y no podia controlar la pelota.  En una jugada en un pase largo de Ludueña a si a Suarez, Muñoz se confundio y Suarez le pudo ganar la marca en la salida de Muñoz, y pudo descontar haciendo el 1-0.  Santos siguio atacando y Atlante no podia hacerse cargo de la pelota pero el juego se quedo hasi para el primer tiempo.  Empezando el segundo tiempo, Peralta pelio la pelota dos veces con los defensores Atlantistas y pudo sacar el rebote y le mando un pase a Quintero que este la empujo y hiso el 2-0 para Santos.  Despues durante el juego el Kikin Fonseca se perdio un mano a mano contra Osvaldo Sanchez.  En una descolgada de Quintero, pudo habilitar a Ochoa que este se dio una vuelta y disparo raso un lado y Muñoz no pudo llegar y era el 3-0 para Santos.

Santos and Atlante were facing off at the Territorio Santos Modelo Stadium.  Atlante had came from a loss to Chivas and Santos had came from a previous win as a visitor against Pachuca.  The games started off good for Santos because they were displaying the offensive game that they always have.  Atlante was having a hard time holding on to the ball and to control it.  Santos was able to score by a confusion between Muñoz and Atlante's defenders.  Because on a long pass from Ludueña, Suarez was able to dribble off with the ball taking Muñoz out of his goalie box and leaving a clear shot for Suarez to score the 1-0 for Santos.  After the goal Santos kept insisting but was not clear to make their second goal, and thats how the first half ended.  On the beginning of the second half, Peralta fought for the ball two times against the defenders from Atlante and was able to get the rebound and he passed the ball to Quintero and he was able to score the 2-0 for Santos.  Later on the game, Kikin Fonseca missed a one on one shot against Osvaldo Sanchez for Atlante.  Ochoa came in as a substitution and he scored a goal on a pass by Darwin Quintero.  He spinned off and shot straight to a side of the goal and Muñoz wasn't able to reach the ball and that was the 3-0 for Santos.

 Los equipos de Cruz Azul y Atlas se midieron en el estadio Azul para la fecha 2 de la Liga Mexicana.  El juego estaba muy rispido y lleno de faltas porque estaba lloviendo y la pelota se paraba mucho y los jugadores se resbalaban mucho.  Cruz Azul empezo dominando el juego, pero ya que la lluvia paro, el conjunto del Atlas pudo tomar mas posecion de la pelota.  Javier Aquino estaba haciendo un mejor juego de todos lo jugadores de Cruz Azul pero no pudo concretar la que tubo.  Y por su parte Rodriguez pudo hacer el gol para el Atlas a pase de Mendoza.  Y hasi se termino el primer tiempo Atlas 1-0 Cruz Azul.  En el segundo tiempo Cortez empato el juego para Cruz Azul.  Ya con el juego empatado Cruz Azul movia la pelota mas que Atlas.  Y en un balon parado a pase de Cortes elt Tito Villa de un cabezazo puso el 2-1.

The teams of Cruz Azul and Atlas had a match for the Mexican League tournament week 2.  The game was very hard for both because it was raining.  There were a lot of fouls and the ball kept stopping at places in the field because of the puddles.  Javier Aquino was the most important player for Cruz Azul because he kept dribbling the ball and having opportunities to make the goals but didnt.  On the other hand Atlas was able to score by Rodriguez on a pass by Mendoza.  And thats how the game ended in the first half Atlas 1-0.  It took 2 minutes into the second half for Cruz Azul to make the goal of the tie by Cortez.  And Tito Villa was able to put Cruz Azul up 2-1 on a header from a pass from Cortez.

El Mundial Sub-20 empezo para el tricolor y para la albiceleste.  Las viejas conocidas selecciones de Mexico y Argentina se midian una vez mas en una compiticion Fifa.  Cabe de destacar que la Argentina siempre le lleva ventaja a la Mexicana.  Y esta vez no fue la diferencia, ya que en el primer tiempo Argentina y Mexico se estaban dando al dos por dos, ninguna seleccion tenia mucha claridad.  Argentina domino mas el primer tiempo, y no fues hasta que en el segundo tiempo Lamela disparo raso entre tres defensores Mexicanos y al portero y el 1-0 para Argentina se hiso vigente.  Tambien cabe destacar que hubo un gol muy dudoso que fue invalido para Mexico , los lineas dijieron que Pullido estaba offside, pero eso quedo en la duda y en el hubiera, y hasi empezo el tricolor con una perdida, y la Argentina con una victoria.

The World Cup U-22 begun today in Colombia.  The known national teams of Argentina and Mexico once more were facing off in a Fifa competition.  Its always notable to mention that Argentina has a slight edge all the time against Mexico.  They have always managed to stay on top and today was no difference.  The first half was very equal to both sides, Mexico and Argentina were displaying some good soccer.  Yet the goal did not come till the second half, when Lamela was able to dribble amongst three Mexican defenders and he was able to make a shot and he beat the goalie and scored the first for Argentina 1-0.  Mexico wasn't able to shake it off and it brought some substitutions like Erik Torres, and was able to show a more offense but did not made the clear shots.  He had one but he did not manage control the ball for a little bit more of time, instead he hesitated and shot right to the goalies hands.  Alan Pullido scored a goal that was called invalid because the lineman thought he was offside when he was not.  At the end of the game, Argentina won 1-0 and begins with the tournament with a win and Mexico with a loss.
