Las predicciones del amistoso entre las escuadras de Barcelona de España y las Chivas de Guadalajara eran iguales entre todos.  Mucha gente apostaba que el equipo de Chivas hiba a salir a tratar de proponer, pero que no le hiba a alcanzar para hacerle daño al mejor equipo del Mundo.  El juego empezo, y a los 3 minutos del juego David Villa sentencio y se estaba concretando lo que muchos pensaban y el Barcelona ya estaba 1-0.  Chivas no bajo la guardia, y Barcelona no paro de ser lo que es, una locomotora de pases bellos y muy precisos.  Chivas seguia atacando, no bajo las armas, llego muchas veces en el primer tiempo pero no pudo concretarlas.  Ya para el segundo tiempo, la sorpresa de la noche empezo.  Marco fabian empezo con el empate a pase de Carlos Fierro el campeon sub-17 del mundo y estabamos 1-1.  Despues una descolgada de Omar Arellano y pase para Marco Fabian que este de media chilena le hiso un golazo al Barcelona, y estaba el juego 2-1.  Y el otro jugador campeon sub-17 Casillas en dos tiempos pudo convertir el 3-1 para Chivas.  Y tambien Casillas causo el cuarto y definitivo gol para Chivas, un disparo que se desvio en Verdusco y las Chivas sorprendieron al mundo con su cantera y con su propuesta ofensiva 4-1.

Before the friendly game between Chivas and Barcelona took place at the World Football Challenge, many predicted a result most common to the human eye.  Many claimed that Barcelona would run through Chivas easily as Madrid managed to beat them 3-0.  That was not the case for tonights match, Chivas came out strong as they never backed down and decided to play forward.  Barcelona struck first by David Villa at the 3rd minute.  Many of course thought that the usual was about to happen, but it didn't/.  Chivas had many chances and was able to get to Barcelonas goal plenty of times but never managed to convert those plays into goals.  On the second half the magic commenced, when the World Cup U-17 champion Carlos Fierro passed the ball to the man of the game, Marco Fabian and scored the tie for the game.  Minutes later Arellano made a run through the sideline and was able to volley the ball to Marco Fabian and he was able to do a scissor kick and score the 2-1 for Chivas.  The stadium and Guardiola were in shock as Chivas was already up in the game.  Then the other World Cup U-17 Champion Casillas scored the third goal for Chivas, and lastly Casillas took another shot and it delfected on Verdusco and the final 4-1 was in.  Chivas shocked the world and beat the best team of the world barcelona 1-4 Chivas.

Un juego bien peleado por ambos bandos, el marcador es un poco mentiroso porque cabe decir que la Juventus tubo la suya y la hizo, pero hubo momentos que el juego era de las Chivas, el equipo encaraba, dominaba, transladaba la pelota y hacia peligro pero no con effectividad.  Fue sorprendido las Chivas porque al minuto 12 Quagliarella marco para la Juventus en un grave error de Magallon.  Todabia bajo en el marcador las Chivas no regresaron pero siguieron con la misma propuesta ofensiva.  Michel tapo una muy clara de la juve con la cara, todo esto fue en el primer tiempo.  Omar Arellano y Fabian de La Mora causaban muchos problemas a la saga de la Juventus.  En el segundo tiempo los primeros 20 minutos eran dominados completamente por las Chivas pero no pudieron hacer la diferencia, y los cambios se vinieron.  Los campeones sub-17 Fierro, Tostado y Casillas entraron y no aflojaron.  buen juego de las Chivas pero no les alcanzo, como dije, un resultado muy dudoso.

Juventus who had already beat one of the great teams from Mexico, America was facing off against the most popular team of Mexico, Chivas de Guadalajara.  This game was very tough for Juventus, they did manage to get the win but it came at a great cost.  Quagliarella was able to put Juventus up in the first half on a great error by Magallon.  Yet after the goal Chivas did not back down and continued to pus the ball forward.  Fabian de La Mora and Arellano were a real nightmare for the Italian team , yet they weren't able to tie the game and Michel was able to block a goal shot with his face.  On the second half Chivas was able to dominate the first 20 minutes of the game yet they did not tie the game.  And than the World Cup U-17 Champions got a chance to play, Tostado, Casillas and Fierro got some playing minutes and they did a great job but did not make the scoring difference that was needed to tie the game.

 Pocas veces los equipos mexicanos tienen la oportunidad de enfrentarse y medirse contra equipos grandes de Europa como la Juventus.  Este Martes fue uno de esos dias, y el America se enfrento contra la Juventus de Italia.  El juego en el primer tiempo estubo muy anivelado a la diferencia del gol de la Juventus por Pasquato en los ultimos minutos del primer tiempo.  Reynoso salio con un plantel ofensivo, la tripleta de Benitez, Castillo y Dany Montenegro se movio bien pero falto la punteria.  Especialmente la mas clara cuando Castillo le paso la pelota a Benitez y este a forma de velocidad se llevo a un defensor de la Juventus pero Buffon pudo tapar el disparo que parecia el empate para el America.  En el segundo tiempo hubo mas de los mismo con las substituciones de Layun, Vuoso, Rojas, y los que salieron, Sanchez, Benitez, Castillo y Dany Montenegro

There are few times were the Mexican teams are able to level up against the great European teams.  Today was one of those days were America was able to match up against Juventus from Italy.  The game in the first half was really balanced to both sides except for the goal by Pasquato at the ending minutes of the game.  Reynoso started with an offensive America with the combinations of Castillo, Montenegro and Benitez, they had some shots but not accurate enough.  The closest one was when Castillo made a pass to Benitez, and Benitez with speed was able to make a run into the goalies box and he took a shot but Buffon blocked the shot.  On the second half it was more of the same and Juventus won the game 1-0.

Que buen entrenamiento de lujo era para las Chivas de Guadalajara al enfrentar a uno de los clubes historicos del mundo, el Real Madrid.  El juego en el primer tiempo estaba muy trabado por muchas faltas, y tambien Real Madrid no podia abrir el marcador porque Luis Michel le tapo todos los disparos y remates de Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, y Ozil.  Y hazy termino el primer tiempo 0-0, con un Real Madrid al frente y con un Chivas a aguantar y a jugar de contra golpe.  En el segundo tiempo todo cambio, porque en una descolgada de Benzema pudo sacar un centro donde Cristiano Ronaldo en medio de dos defensores de Chivas pudo rematar y abrir el marcador, despues La Pina Arellano derribo a Pepe en el area chica y fue penalty que fue bien cobrado por Cristiano Ronaldo convirtiendo el 2-0.  Y en una buena jugada Ozil se saco la marca y pudo centrar al area chica donde Cristiano Ronaldo vencio a Michel por tercera vez convirtiendo el 3-0.

*Mourinho said  that he liked the game a lot, specially because Chivas was a team that fought all the game and that gave them trouble.  He said that he had experienced playing before against American and Mexican teams when he was Chelsea's coach and that these type of teams fight a lot, and that he was really impressed with Chivas.

Chivas had a luxurious preseason game against one of the best teams of the world, Real Madrid.  Along with all its stars, Real Madrid played with Ozil, Kaka, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.  During the first half, Real Madrid was not able to score on Chivas because of Luis Michel the goalie.  And in the second half, he scored three goals.  The first goal came as Benzema was able to dribble through the side of the field making a long cross that Cristiano Ronaldo, among two Chivas defenders was able to finally beat Chiva's Goalie Michel.  Then Arellano committed a foul on Pepe and a penalty shot was called and Cristiano Ronaldo was able to score again for the 2-0.  Then Ozil dribbled the ball to the side of the field and was able to make another cross were Cristiano Ronaldo once more was able to score and make the final score 3-0

*El New England Revolution pudo mantener el juego en zero por todo el primer tiempo con su equipo titular al igual que se enfrentaban a nombres grandes como Rooney, Bervatov, Nani


La pretemporada del actual campeon de la liga premier de Inglaterra el Manchester United empezo este dia en el World Football Challenge contra el New England Revolution.  Alex Ferguson no se guardo nada y mando algunos nombres que son muy conocidos, como Anderson, Owen, Rooney, Berbatov, en incluso pudimos ver el regreso de Macheda que en su regreso al equipo del prestamo hizo dos goles.  Pero este juego estaba mas inclinado hacia el Manchester United , pero en el primer tiempo nadie de los dos equipos pudo hacerse nada.  Tubo que pasar todo un tiempo para que en el segundo tiempo Michael Owen abriera el maracador a un pase de Carrick.  Bervatov salio para el segundo tiempo y Macheda entro en su lugar y pudo convertir dos goles.  Por suparte Kenny Mansalli pudo convertir un gol para el New England Revolution.  En los ultimos minutos Oberton pudo hacer una jugada infiltrada y le paso la pelota a Park y este pudo convertir el 4-1.

The preseason begun today for the current premier title holder, Manchester United.  They faced off against the New England Revolution in the World Football Challenge.  Alex Ferguson did not hold any of its players and sent it's best of is best such as Wayne Rooney, Berbatov, Michael Owen, Anderson, Nani, and Giggs and Ferdinand came later in the second half.  The player that was notable was Macheda that returned to the team and was able to score 2 goals in the second half.  Michael Owen was also able to score a goal.  And for The New England Revolution, Kenny Mansalli was able to score a goal.  On one of the last plays Obertan was able to infiltrate a pass to Park and he was able to score the 4ft goal for the devils.

El Sabado 16, 2011 se llevara acabo el juego entre el grande equipo del Real Madrid contra el LA Galaxy.  Este juego sera parte del torneo que se lleva acabo llamado el World Football Challenge.  El Real Madrid posiblemente vendra con todas su estrellas como Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain, Ozil, Di Maria, y muchos mas en tiempo de pretemporada para asumir la preparacion para La Liga 2011-2012.  Y que tan perfecto juego sera porque los merengues tendran enfrente a uno de los equipos grandes de la MLS, que es el LA Galaxy con sus estrellas Juan Pablo Angel, David Beckham y el Capitan America Landon Donovan.  Este choque promete un buen entreteniemiento que sera transmitido por ESPN television y ESPN deportes Radio.

On Saturday 16, 2011 the game between one of Spain's biggest teams Real Madrid will be facing againts one of the biggest teams of the MLS, LA Galaxy.  This game promises to be a great spectacle because Real Madrid will be in preseason preparing for the Liga 2011-2012.  Mourinho will begin to adjust its lineup and will like to start trying out as many players as possible.  Stars like Cristiano Ronald, Di Maria, Higuain and Ozil will be present against LA Galaxy's own star players such as Juan Pablo Angel, Beckham and Donovan.  ESPN Deportes will broadcast the games both on ESPN)TV and ESPN deportes Radio on 7/16/2011 @
