La gente regreso al estadio Corona en el Territorio Santos Modelo.  Despues de la balacera que termino el partido entre Morelia y Santos, la expectativa era clara si la aficion santista regresaria.  Y ese fue el caso, ya que enfrente tenia al superlider las Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara.  El juego empezo muy movido, y Regis el tecnico interino trato con sus variantes al cambiar la alineacion que el ex tecnico Diego Cocca tenia.  Esta vez incluyo a Mares, a Figeroa por Baloy que era necesario y al super rapido Colombiano Darwin Quintero haciendo dupla con Uribe Peralta.  La formula le dio mas ataque ofensivo pero no concreto, tubo profundidad pero no tubo claridad.  Por la otra parte, Chivas tubo mucha profundidad por las llegadas de Arellano y Marco Fabian pero tampoco tubieron claridad.  Michel saco dos de gol en el primer tiempo, muy claras y peligrosas que Michel se tiro para la foto ambas veces y heroicamente pudo desviar la pelota de su arco.  En el segundo tiempo, en una carambola de rebotes, y especialmente con unas faltas, la pelota le cayo a Figueroa que pudo concretar el gol y era el 1-0 para Santos.  Despues a balon parado , El Venado Medina hizo un gol que Osvaldo Sanchez volo pero no pudo atajarla, y el juego termino Chivas 1-1 Santos, y los dos se quedaron con un punto y Chivas sigue de puntero.

The game between Santos and Chivas was a very anticipated game, after what had happened in the previous Santos Vs Morelia game.  The shootings that happened outside the Territorio Santos Modelo Stadium stopped the game and sent the audience in a terrorized shock.  Yet after the suspension of the game, the question was whether the audience would be present during this game.  And the answer to that was yes, of course it would be present, specially since having to face off against the general competition leader Chivas.  The game started off really good, Rergis the temporary coach for Santos tried out a different starting line up that inclueded Mares, Figueroa and Quintero.  The inclusions were really good and moderated the offensive attack of the Santos players.  Michel had to intervene in two clear shots of goals for Chivas yet at the end of the first half the game was still 0-0.  Than on the second half on a series of rebounds, Figueroa was able to put it away and score the 1-0 for Santos.  Later on the game, Chivas scored through Medina on a standing ball play were Osvaldo Sanchez flew but was unable to catch it.  And the game ended Chivas 1-1 Santos.
