Primer Tiempo
En los primeros minutos del primer tiempo Pumas empezo muy ofensivo presionando a Morelia desde la salida. Pumas tenia todas sus lineas adelantadas y Morelia perdia muchos balones en el medio campo. Al minuto 13 Dante Lopez se escapo en un pase filtrado y Vilar lo derribo en el area chica y Marco Antonio Rodriguez marco penal. El penal fue convertido en gol al minuto 14 por Paco Palencia que la coloco en un lado. Morelia desperto despues de ir perdiendo y se fue para enfrente, en una jugada, Sabah entro en el area chica y fue derribado por Veron en una clara falta y penal. Pero Marco Antonio Rodriguez no marco penal y le saco la amarilla a Sabah. En otra jugada similar, Palacios derribo a Sabah y esta vez si le cobraron penal, y fue el gol maracado por el ex Puma Jimmy Lozano al minuto 25.
Segundo Tiempo
El segundo tiempo empezo muy anivelado, pero en el transcurso de los minutos la balanza se inclinaba mas al los Pumas. Los dos equipos sabian que tenian que hacer goles para ganar el campeonato, y el juego se hizo muy abierto teniendo ambos equipos muchas oportunidades. Pero el al minuto 32 Javier Cortez en una jugada dejo a unos cuantos jugadores de Morelia y se metio al area chica y convirtio el segundo gol de Pumas. Morelia ya no pudo hacer nada en los minutos restantes, y el campeonato lo ganaron los Pumas, bien merecidamente,

First Half
Pumas started the game with a full offensive pressing against Morelia. All their offensive and defensive lines were on a forward strategy that caused the players of Morelia to lose the ball in the mid field. On a play, Dante Lopez was tripped by Vilar and Marco Antonio the referee called a pentalty kick. Francisco Palencia converted the penalty kick into a goal on the 14th minute of the game. This goal was the awakening call for Morelia because they started to push forward. And on a play by Miguel Sabah, Dario Veron tripped him in the goal box, but Marco Antonio took that as a fake foul and gave a yellow card to Sabah. Minutes later Palacios tripped Sabah once more in the goal box, except this time Marco Antonio did call for a penalty kick. The ex Pumas player Jimmy Lozano converted the penalty into a goal on the 25th minute of the game.
Second Half
The second half started very leveled off by both sides. Pumas showed a little bit of more offense, yet both teams knew that if they wanted to win the championship that they will need to push forward and score some goals. That goal came by Javier Cortez on the 32nd minute of the game, were on a big play, he was able to leave some Morelia players on the side and access the goal box and score the second goal for Pumas. Morelia wasn't able to do anything in the last remaining minutes, and Pumas won the championship
